“try water fox or ice weasel” try chill penguin. install flame mammoth. you just download bubble crab. literally just use boomer kuwanger. sting chameleon has a search bar, use it to find toxic seahorse.
I asked what I should use instead of firefox and someone said “floorp” and I legitimately thought it was a bit for like five minutes. tech has gone beyond making the torment nexus real to making poob real.

Compsci question/lazyweb: Is there some work related to answering this question efficiently? "Given a dataset D and a SQL query Q on D, will Q give a different result if I update D with some action A?"

Don't know the terminology properly, but the general case isn't solvable without rerunning Q.

Metroidvanias are either Protestant or Catholic. Castlevania? Catholic, of course. Metroid? Protestant. Blasphemous is Catholic. Dead Cells, Protestant.

Hollow Knight is Protestant, but Hollow Knight: Silksong is Catholic. That's why people are complaining the game is hard. Cause it's Catholic now.

One of the many reasons AI can't produce good writing is it can't hate its own writing. It can't think to itself "Maybe I'm illiterate" during the writing process. And that's essential

I wrote a blog post about why you should throw away Bash and use Python for more complicated scripts. It's not surprising, but I think too many people forget it's even an option:

Use Python for Scripting!
"Use the right tool" is nice in theory, but not when the tool acts a bit differently from machine to machine, and isn't always installed.

You can also check out my other band Soulmass, who has an album primed for 2026 release, but our most recent Signalis EP and Gundam-themed album are, ya know, pretty fuckin' sick.

Today I went to a new doctor who, thankfully is amazing and actually wants to help me with my chronic pain. That does mean more tests going forward, and since today is Bandcamp Friday, this would be a great time to pick up some riffs to help me out!
I'm still digging myself out of financial holes created by an amazing healthcare system. For the forseeable future, the entire LS discography on Bandcamp is 75% off ($14 for 9 albums) if you want to help me out and get some riffs along the way.

"Two years since their first album, Fleshvessel cements itself as one of those select few units of incorporeal madness. This is the sort of creation that damn near defies conventional explanation for it absolutely defies conventional death metal in virtually every possible form."
Fleshvessel – Obstinacy: Sisyphean Dreams Unfolded
From the outside looking in, it oftentimes feels as though death metal is something that seems to almost thrive in its old school ways. Vast swathes of the sound are viciously dedicated to keeping …

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

I'm not _that_ conscious about performance when it comes to applications and the like, so I decided to install Ghostty to get some more features than Alacritty... that being said, it's noticeably slower to open a new window, which surprised me. I'll still try to it for now, but I'm a bit surprised.
