The Remco stuff especially has that “Fuck it, they’re only toys.” ethos. I love Joe, but not trying to stay in a lane let Remco get even wilder than Hasbro. Sure some of it was dumb, but that’s also often fun. I did 25th customs of a bunch of em, I’ll have to do the same in Classified.

That they’re hitting the “Red Shadows” hard soon is a huge win for me. I love those characters and designs, and they just aren’t something Hasbro was gonna go for. I haven’t gone for any of the MF Zombies yet, but I’ve got at least one of everything else they’ve done.

Yeah, I second this. Yes, they’re more expensive than a retail figure but they’re more than in line with the standard for the lane they occupy, and you get high quality and a *lot* of stuff with most of the figures. The designs and character concepts are really fun too.

Not sure what to say or do about anything, so I guess I’ll just post some more custom figures. Painted up some heads I’ve picked up recent-ish. Fred (Js Armory) Lore (StarWarsGeek I think?) Marrow (CollectibleCarnage), and Nick Hammond (Daisho Creations).
A toy of Cobra Commander in Battle Armor. A silver armored suit with a blue bodysuit underneath. He holds his helmet under his arm, revealing the red haired face of Fred VII An interpretation of the Marvel Comics character Lore. She’s an alternate universe version of the Scarlet Witch, and this figure uses the body of the Multiverse of Madness Scarlet Witch, with a custom head of her more villainous appearance with her crown extending over her eyes and face. Differentaiting her from the 616 Wanda is bright red hair. A figure of Marvel Comics character Marrow. She’s wears a blue and green 2 piece outfit with gold trim on the shoulders and waist. Bone amor protrudes from her knees and ribcage, and large bones stick out from her back. She holds two large bones knives. Her head, with magenta hair, has a bone ridge on her brow. A figure of Spider-Man as he appeared in the 1977 tv series. His normal costume now has a visible belt and webshooter on his wrist. This figure is unmasked to show the head of the actor who portrayed this version of the character, Nick Hammond.
