the creative process can be absolute hell, there is no worse feeling than getting truly stuck in the middle of an important creative project, but working through those moments ~is~ the creative process and you might as well eat that bullet (or do something entirely different) than turn to AI

The endgame of all of this is an open question, in my mind. I don't think any of the possibilities are necessarily foreclosed, as much as all of this shit has an extremely 1850s sorta vibe that doesn't feel super great at all. I'm just really wary of claiming violence of anything else is inevitable.

I guess this argument feels overly determined? LIke, I don't think any outcome is really inevitable at this point. Look at the nonviolent resistance so far in places like LA and Portland. And, I don't think anyone could say that people in those cities don't hate the Feds occupying their cities.
