I'm going to start reframing the way that I think of human and civil rights. It's not that we "earned the right to [insert right here]," it's that the ruling class and social group finally stopped restricting or denying our rights. "Earning" makes it sound as though we never deserved those rights.

I tailored my college curriculum (classes, studies etc.) around late night and the political background of what it means to make fact-based political commentary/comedy that's accessible to different audiences. The destruction of late night will affect how people dissect government ideologies.
