every author in the class action, please file the claim.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

Project Hanuman is here. I hope you'll take a look as I think it's a pretty good space opera - no hero's journey here - this is about community, how we build back better and, of course, mind bending space battles in sentient ships.

My first full length Warhammer novel sees me doing my alien mindset schtick with the Seraphon, the lizard warriors of the Mortal Realms.
Holy crap!! Written in Stars by @aptshadow.bsky.social was one of my favorite shorts in last year’s Advent Subscription- just such a gem! And now we’re getting a full novel?

An absolute out-of-left-field gem of great news.

Human teeth wear out after a few decades.

Elves live for centuries.

So one of three things must be true.

Thought of the Day: Elven Teeth
Human teeth wear out. Even if you avoid the deleterious effects of cavities and gum disease, sheer wear and tear will eventually grind your teeth down. So by the end of a few decades of life, it’s

One hope for the REASONS to be certain reasons.

Also in the meanwhile, you all should read this series (and honestly, anything written by Ian)
A wee throwback. My first book THE GAUNTLET AND THE FIST BENEATH (2021) has animist gods, UFOs, brutal juntas, and a punch-up with a wolf pack. Rereading (gor REASONS) and I love it.

Here is a wee bit of art by @flygohr.bsky.social of Floré, our lady of punches

Extremophile by @ianthegreen.bsky.social is a raging moshpit of a book. The story is so tightly-coiled that it takes up way more space in your head than on each page, and so overwound that it steamrollers you as it explodes out. Same vibes I had the first time I followed Molly on the Straylight run.

Gah! OK! I'm! Awake!

Need to get up and replace the broken kitchen kickboard & fit the electric fan heater into it. It scares me cos it's pumbed into the heating.

Then planning to loaf about reading & drinking coffee. Had a Bookshop.org voucher for birthday and it arrived yesterday.

Twisty and haunting and hopeful and sad, a beautiful novel dripping ghosts and brine. In the salt and fog the borders we draw between genres are utterly superfluous.

A lovely strange wee thing.

I read EXTREMOPHILE earler this year and can't recommend it highly enough. For everyone who likes good, original writing and/or punk and who is not a knobhead.
I've decided that whilst critical success is lovely, I'd like to sell some books.

If you liked EXTREMOPHILE, recommend it to a pal! (If your pal is fucking COOL and not a narc)

Eco-terrorism biohacking body horror, smart shit with dumb characters. Your new favourite book
