It’s a damn fine print ☕️

Thank heavens for fellow artist friends. I couldn’t find my original brand of card protectors so a pal recommended these UVA/UVB blocking ones with sleeves. They’re not as rigid as the old ones, but they’re pretty good quality.

I recently picked up some books on botanical drawings and floral illustration. While I never read books like this as a cover-to-cover text book, flipping through looking for specific skills is definitely going to do well. Here’s a tulip I doodled from next to no reference but shapes on a tutorial.

LMFAO listen I didn’t say I’d like what I find in there but I really wanna comprehend buying an island for your band groupies and starting a cult lmao but then somehow presenting “normal” to everyone on the outside LOL. It’s giving Boy Band Charles Manson.

They call him Jared "Leto" because they "let" him star in movies over and over even though the films make everyone say "O this movie bad"

Mr Laos. Just when you though this year was a bit quiet on the insanely huge, bedazzled, symbolic costumes along comes Mr Laos and blows everyone else out of the water. This is insane, but it's also *so* good.

Mr Korea. It's nice, it's simple, it's traditional. As far as the traditional looks go though it's not one that you're likely to remember unfortunately, especially when you see what's coming next...

Mr Hong Kong is here to save us from the cavalcade of awful that Europe just flung at us. This is nothing groundbreaking or unusual for Hong Kong, but when it's done as beautifully as this I'm not complaining.

Mr China coming in hard with the first of the traditional and *stunning* looks. There's just the right element of cosplay to the look, the colours are stunning and we love a weapon as a prop in Mister Global (fnar). Although the shoe looks oddly clunky. Minor quibble though.

Mr Brazil starts us off inoffensively enough with a fairly boring suit but my goodness he's selling it with that walk. He does get a bonus point for the suit clearly fitting though, because as you will see that is not always a given...

I think a lot of actresses are told to avoid showing *thinking* on screen. Many of Keaton’s best roles were based on her ability to not simply be but become. The Nicholson line about “looking for your soul not an ashtray” in Reds actually kind of shows why Keaton was great. Being busy as strategy.

I don't argue with anyone who won't watch a Woody Allen movie; it's a personal choice, different for everyone. But Diane Keaton is a big reason I almost never say "[Movie X] is dead to me." My argument isn't "Separate the artist from the art"; it's that movies are never just one person's legacy.

My best friend is raising funds for medical care and transport. Her insurance won’t cover home nursing and she isn’t eligible for medical transport. The family is directly affected by the govt furlough so there’s no income. Please donate and/or share pleaee and thank you gofund.me/1debe7385
