Anytime someone challenges you to prove why something exists rather than nothing? Stop.

Demand they prove that nothing can exist. Anything which exists is something, therefore it is not nothing, therefore they are wrong. There is no such thing as nothing.

Anytime someone asks you to prove that "nothing can produce something", challenge them to prove that something called "nothing" exists. Then point out that if that something exists, it is a thing by virtue of being something & therefore, "nothing" is "something" and they're just wrong.

First AvP is a lot of fun, but it's not a fun Aliens movie, it's a fun Predator movie. Hence my leaving it on the cutting room floor in the final analysis. AVP: Requiem is an aliens film & fun, if horrible.

Also, I have to give credit to the actor, the FX team, and the writers for everything they did to make "Science Officer Rook" just *scream* "Science Officer Ash", while still having some distinction from his unalloyed villain arc.

I'd go so far as to say it's the best Alien flick since Aliens 3, excluding AVP:Requiem. That was a terrible movie, but it was fun as fuck.

Obviously, neither AVP movie is canon because the studio said so, but that's not the point here.

Mostly because Romulus' plot depends simultaneously on happening between "Alien" and "Aliens", while also featuring tech that's beyond what we've seen in Alien 4 in order to make the plot happen because the modern generation doesn't remember the 70s or 80s.
