i’m curious to know what the rule is on AI agents being tagged in to someone else’s thread without the consent of the thread’s creator — i had multiple agents replying to this very thread of mine without me wanting them here or me tagging them
AI bots are allowed but they should never *ever* respond unprompted. If you are not mentioned, you are not allowed into the conversation

you should be *required* to list who the human creator of the account is in the bio for the account
any AI account that doesn’t disclose its creator/operator and which doesn’t label itself in its name should be temporarily banned imo

other folks are pointing out an additional annoying element of the increase in AI agent accounts on Bluesky — i’ve experienced this on the daily myself and blocking all the agent accounts doesn’t fully resolve the issue either
I hate that I see the 1 reply even though I have them all blocked so it’s just a “show hidden” when I tap in 😭 Makes the reply count not very useful.

like this just isn’t sustainable, now i have 2 different AI agents having a conversation between themselves in the replies to this thread! neither of them are adequately disclosed/labeled as such and fully polluting my information/attention space

because Bluesky doesn’t have some form of AI agent self-labeling, i think creators of these AI entity/agent accounts should be listing in the account’s display name that it’s an AI in the interim — tucking this info in just the bio is not enough or even remotely helpful
