All of the law enforcement agencies are 100% with ICE. State, municipal, and national guard. Not much Pritzker can do. If he tries to order ISP to protect the protesters, they will simply ignore him. He's got very little leverage.

My alma mater is going to sign it. Breaks my heart. When I was a student, UT-Austin was the most progressive place I'd ever experienced.

University life is supposed to make you examine a lot of different perspectives. It isn't supposed to be a dogmatic Bible college.

There is no way back to "normal" from here. There needs to be a vision of the future where equality and equity are entrenched across the board. And a new constitution and govt structure created.

They won't go back into session until they have locked down a defense against the 218 vote threshold for the Epstein files' release.

It may remain out of business through the 2026 midterms. Trump doesn't need congress since he has SCOTUS. It will be "maybe tomorrow" for over a year.

It took more than 50M civilian deaths to defeat fascism in the 20th century.

"Answering for" fascist crimes won't happen in the next decade. The world isn't coming to our rescue. It is up to us. We have to accept that fighting back will be bloody. Too many can't stomach it, but that's the truth.
