A friend sent me this and I can only think of @ishtar.bsky.social, a friend from shul, and me.

Come on bow and arrow lesbians, I know more of us are out there.

Sword lesbians, in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

Oh gosh yes, this! lol

Not only is archery fun, but a woman with a bow is just... Fine πŸ₯°

It's one reason i love being an archer at LARP lol

Well, i am liking it. Not sure if it gets season 2 with how bad things are now. But, let's hope

I just got back from the night with the girls (and a guy). We had a dinner event, then went back and watched a bunch of interest in YouTube stuff while we all chatted for like a couple hours. Very fun.

I am watching the new trek, by the way. You like it?

Oh we use the same thing. In fact I have a shovel that's perfect for it that would have been useful in this event, but I let my father borrow it and haven't gotten it back lol

Oh gosh, now there's a term most folks probably wouldn't know lol

Sorry about your arm though. This ice totally sucks and is making a good case for flamethrowers lol
February 2, 2026 at 10:48 PM
I found that a pickaxe works incredibly well for breaking the ice but shovels suck. Basically, I'm kind of looking for platforms to strike on the ice, almost the way you would on a big chunk of Flint. I strike those with the pickaxe, and it comes apart so fast.

Oh that looks really pretty! I absolutely adore my pre-dynastic Egyptian "bird woman" figuring that you made!

A sapphic Iron Age action adventure romance set in 160CE Scotland! πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

A disillusioned Sarmatian mounted archer meets a whimsically minded Caledonian warrior in battle, but is Rome their real enemy?

Well researched, steamy, and non-stop action packed!

This reminds me of the first lithics that I found in the field and identified. I still remember that experience as an undergraduate with two grad archaeologists (who weren't up on lithics) having to call me over to identify them πŸ₯°

Notice me senpai 🀣🀣🀣🀣

Gosh, I love lithics πŸͺ¨

The same person drew a picture of my LARP character on the back of a receipt. She's a cute dryad archer, which is what I play.

That is roughly my outfit, I'm just not quite as cute lol

One of my favorite ancient pieces of jewelry ever. There's a particular archaeologist who made one of these, and hers looks absolutely gorgeous. If I had the time I would make one, but that's a lot of work lol

But yeah, gorgeous!
Jet Necklace β€’ Derry

This is part of a c.4000 year old necklace made of jet found at Cumber, County Derry.

The jet is likely to have come from Northern England, showing trade links across the Irish Sea in the Bronze Age.

You can see this wonderful artefact in the National Museum of Ireland.

I haven't actually been able to do much of any rural science in like a month or two, and it's eating me up.

Sure there was LARP and other random lesbian activities, but I feel like I'm missing out here lol

Hopefully I can get back in the field this spring

A friend of mine drew a picture of me on my coffee cup tonight at an event. If you're wondering where the dots come from, they were part of my makeup lol

It reads, Ishtar chan

If you've read my novel set in the Neolithic, you will recognize my main character uses similar dots on her face πŸ₯°
