I spent today listening to some of Evolutionary Socialism: A Criticism and Affirmation, by Eduard Bernstein
So far, I agree with some of what he's saying, especially where it relates to criticisms of Marx's dialectical predestination of workers and revolution, which I think is harsh

This was my unit a few days ago. I've gone down a couple inches since then and I may have hit the next context interface. We'll have to find out tomorrow after a good cleaning. Silty loam with a little clay, 7.5yr 5/6, cobbles, pebbles, and the hint of the cultural layer.

I came home tonight quite tired from archeology.
It rained and it was really cold as we were trying to clean up the sides of the unit we were excavating. But even as I come home covered in dirt, my tank top dusty, and my body tired...

I came home tonight quite tired from archeology.
It rained and it was really cold as we were trying to clean up the sides of the unit we were excavating. But even as I come home covered in dirt, my tank top dusty, and my body tired...

3 days of LARP were fun!
I play a dryad archer. Normally, I would wear elf ears, lots of purple/blue body paint, and more. But it doesn't hold up to large-scale LARP combat.
I can say that nobody can get within 150 ft without getting an arrow lol I've been in archer since I was a child.

Sweaty, covered in dirt, tired, and super happy. I took my unit down a couple inches (really tough soil), then meeting it all up. Then I went to the lab for a little bit and cleaned samples. A nice fulfilling day

I just put on a little good sticking waterproof eyeliner, and a little brow darkener, but nothing else. hadn't really thought about it lol
