Someone should tell her that self-delusion and stoopid can’t be cured with endless cosmetic procedures. Can’t give anyone a half decent singing voice either

The nation’s largest private prison company is asking the Supreme Court to give federal contractors blanket immunity from lawsuits — including human trafficking claims.

If they win, private contractors could operate with even less accountability than they do now.
The Human Trafficking Case That Could Hand Government Contractors Blanket Immunity
In a little-noticed Supreme Court case, the country’s largest private prison operator argues companies should be shielded from lawsuits when doing the government’s dirty work.

After Trump's tariff post, trillions vanished in hours. The S&P collapsed. Nasdaq crashed. Tech giants bled red. But a different kind of storm was already brewing — not on Wall Street, but deep inside the blockchain.

While everyone else was watching Trump’s post, someone was already cashing in.
Before that announcement even hit the airwaves, an anonymous crypto wallet suddenly transferred over $1 billion into stablecoins — digital dollars that hold value even when everything else collapses. Then, within seconds of Trump’s post, that same wallet started placing $100 million buy orders across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and multiple altcoins just as the market imploded.

Florida state Rep Hillary Cassel—who used to be a Democrat but flipped to the MAGA Republican Party—has intro'd HB 119 to "ban Shariah law in America."

Florida has already banned 1600 books, including the Diary of Anne Frank, so it doesn't surprise me that they're antisemitic AND Islamophobic.

Per CDC source: At internal leadership meeting this afternoon, it was shared that 1,257 people were RIF'd at CDC. Number may not be final. Apparently, chief of staff was unaware that RIFs were going to occur so not clear who is making decisions. (Short 🧵)

Marian Wilson Kimber: It’s painful to realize the people in charge of Iowa’s history apparently have no idea how history works. If they did, they'd know there is no way to predict what parts of the collection will be of interest 5, 20, or 100 years from now. www.bleedingheartland.com/2025/10/10/t...

Schatz: They’re stopping wind and solar because this guy has some very strange ideas about the energy mix. And it’s consistent with the rest of his political and economic philosophy — if there’s less of everything, it gives him more authority to dole out favors

“Originalism”. Have you heard of it? It’s the white supremos’ response to the Warren Court’s expansion of civil rights in the 1960’s. COMPLETELY MADE UP BULLSHIT that rewrote history AND the Constitution.

This COUP was a 55 year process. Their project is almost complete. It’s called Project 2025.

Live performance of "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield in 1967. The song was written in 1966 in response to the Sunset Strip curfew riots in Los Angeles. It became an anthem for generational conflict, civil unrest, and later anti-war movements.

"The lyrics are still so relevant."
