Pumpkin pie flavored #poptarts are one of the few food items my #ARFID brain can handle. Especially first thing in the morning. They’re also my current #hyperfixation food. And the thought of them being a seasonal item is making me want to stockpile every box I can find 😪 @poptartusa.bsky.social

As a result of the Republican federal government shutdown, SNAP payments will not be paid in November.

The state plans to notify SNAP recipients when payments can resume and will let people know when to expect SNAP payments.

"If we don't fight hard enough for the things we stand for, at some point we have to recognize that we don't really stand for them." -Paul Wellstone

This weekend marked the anniversary of his passing. He will forever remain one of my political heroes. Thinking of him always.

Everyone NEEDS to watch this. It is infuriating to say the least. This fkn white woman murdered an innocent mother. And these POS cops treated the murderer way too kindly and respectfully. I am enraged and absolutely heartbroken. #injustice #blacklivesmatter

As the first Black Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, I’ve lived the American dream – but I recognize that history can’t stop here.

This Commonwealth will continue to work for everyone, creating more opportunities for everyone to live their American dream.

Happy Juneteenth!

#OTD in 1865, Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, TX, to announce the end of slavery. Over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, freedom was finally enforced.

We honor Juneteenth by continuing the fight for true liberation.

Trump is attacking Harvard & other nonprofits because they disagree with him.

This is about punishing dissent. It’s about silencing nonprofits that serve vulnerable people & our communities. It's about sowing fear.

This is authoritarianism, plain & simple. And it's unlawful.

This discriminatory policy is beyond shameful.

Just like his first Muslim Ban, this latest announcement flies in the face of basic morality and goes directly against our values.

This racist policy will not make us safe, it will separate families and endanger lives. We cannot let it stand.
Breaking news: The Trump administration announced a ban on travelers to the U.S. from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. The ban takes effect June 9.

The effort comes as the president has pursued a series of extraordinary measures to curtail both illegal and legal immigration.

One of the most beautiful and powerful poems of queer defiance out there.

Rita Mae Brown wrote "Sappho's Reply" in the aftermath of Stonewall, amid a wave of organizing and confrontation. It's the origin of the rallying cry "An army of lovers shall not fail/cannot lose."
