If you are a prof, please include something on your website about whether you'd like to be emailed by prospective students & whether you're recruiting this cycle. Emailing norms differ across disciplines and countries, and applicants may ignore website info, but some clarity on your end is helpful.

This has importance way outside CS/ML. If you ask why DOGE employees believe it’s smart to gut NSF and NIH, I’m afraid the answer is that they’ve bought a story where technical progress can proceed mostly decoupled from scientific knowledge.

I use Copilot connected to my vscode, but I have mostly used it for auto completion and minor questions. I don't know how good it is for more difficult stuff.
