The fact that the LAX Automated People Mover has been stuck at 95% complete for months and months is infuriating. It just took me 40 minutes to ride the shuttle from the Metro Transit Center to Terminal 4 because of traffic in the horseshoe. Why. Why is LAX like this.

I am officially done with my first semester of law school 🥳 I don't necessarily feel great about how any of those exams went, but I'm proud to have made it through the hardest of the six semesters.

I'm a night owl. My default bedtime is well after midnight, and my ideal start time to the day is somewhere close to 10:00 am. But so much of society is geared toward early birds that I started to wonder if this preference meant there was something deficient about me.

I've made peace with Notre Dame missing the CFP, but it sucks that it'll happen because of a combined four points and an egregious no-call of a hold by Texas A&M on their final touchdown.

I finished undergrad before ChatGPT came out. I started law school this year. The dissonance is real. We're simultaneously told by our school that if we use AI for any assignments, we fail, but also that we should be striving to master AI if we want to be effective attorneys.

This really struck me. If Uber were legally acknowledged as an employer, then it would be the biggest employer in the world, with over 9,000,000 employees globally. Think about how many taxes, wages, and protections are being lost b/c of their intransigence.

Open California appears to have left its voter survey results open to the public. ~20k responses so far, 74/24 in favor of Prop 50 from a pool that is 71/22 Harris/Trump voters. Prop 50 slightly more popular than Trump? That would be interesting.
