Man… just leave us alone.
Cafes across the U.S. are embracing the low- and no-caffeine lifestyle, with options that are a far cry from dusty tea bags and rewarmed decaf. nyti.ms/3XKlqoj

Counterpoint: you can go to Dartmouth and still be dumb as hell.
It’s important to remember that Laura Ingraham went to Dartmouth. She’s not as stupid as she sounds. She’s just a shameless liar.

So much of our IT compliance training in 2025 was about AI scams.

Real amazing technology. Truly making work more efficient by introducing scams at scale.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar

And I’m gonna watch it again this week.

This World Cup keeps getting more hilarious / sad by the minute
News: Every 2026 World Cup match will feature two "hydration breaks," no matter the weather.

Each half will pause for exactly three minutes midway through.

It's a player welfare measure. It also has sporting & commercial implications.

2026 World Cup to feature three-minute hydration breaks in every half throughout tournament
Every game will pause for three minutes in the middle of each half, which will essentially split the match into quarters.

A lot has been said about this, but I want to make sure we haven’t overlooked something very important:

What a fucking loser.
This will be remembered as the most pathetic moment in American history. What a needy fool.

In THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, Jack Skellington sees something, decides it belongs to him, and pumps out an altered version of it that almost looks like the real thing (but which sucks and everyone hates) while nearly destroying the thing he claimed to be championing.

Jack is a dead tech bro.

All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.

I'm sat here imagining how my clients would feel if I added 30% to each invoice, because I "really got into gambling".

This plus tech bros calling the ACTUAL POPE the antichrist is all part of a setup to supplant traditional faiths with a bizarre and twisted techno-religion.

The Packard Plant parties were a cornerstone of Detroit’s gift to the world: techno.

Growing up in this scene was so incredibly formative. It’s quite literally the foundation of my belief system and introduced me to queer and black spaces that I wouldn’t have otherwise found and loved.
Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan announced today that the City has signed a letter of intent with a proven developer to transform 28 acres of the former Packard Plant site into housing, an electronic music museum, and an indoor skate park, and public space.

Iconic Michigan ruin to be reborn as an electronic music museum and skate park
This huge facility was built in the early 1900s and automobiles were built there until it shut down in the 1950s.
