Building @ industrialzones.org. Clean economic development, manufacturing, climate, running, PNW & Carolina hoops. I still believe in America.
Yeah it is appalling but, honestly, it’s also just kinda lame. Real “sir, this is a Wendy’s” energy. Normal people don’t talk or think in ethnonationalist terms
The Rubio speech really is appalling, and if you haven’t read it yet, you should.

Just experienced the most intense tear gassing of my life by federal officers outside the ICE facility in Portland where marchers gathered. There was no fast exit as they indiscriminately threw loads of gas and flash bangs. Children were in the crowd screaming. @oregoncapitalchronicle.com

(3/3) It can't go on forever because it would eventually wreck FEMA and airports. But it means we aren't putting SSI or Section 8 recipients in the crossfire of a govt shutdown. It's a position where Ds can hold out much longer, so it's a place that maximizes leverage, if Ds are willing to use it.

Alex Pretti was already restrained when federal agents shot and killed him in Minneapolis, a New York Times analysis of video shows. The footage contradicts the Department of Homeland Security’s account of the shooting.
Timeline: How the Shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti Unfolded
A moment-by-moment analysis of video from the scene shows that Mr. Pretti was already restrained when fatal shots were fired, which appears to contradict the federal government’s account of the event.

All that I work on must be subordinate to filibuster abolition, prosecutions, a truth & reconciliation commission, DHS demolition, congressional primacy, impeachments and disqualifications, treating the admin and its pardons as legal nullities.

There will be no governance without accountability.

I can't put into words the feeling of watching our government, a hive of evil antisocial filth, the absolute worst humanity has to offer, colliding with the best. Ordinary people trying to help each other, risking everything to stand up for what's plainly, unambiguously fair and right. It's unreal

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

Journalists and politicians should keep this in mind: The Trump admin spent the past year doing anything they could to squelch investments in T&D infrastructure, microgrids, battery backups, and home weatherization.

DHS doesn’t want to warn Americans about dangerous storm conditions because they are afraid of internet jokes. Clown car government.
