Stephen A Smith is not running for President folks, and if he did, he would get his clocked clean in the primary of either party.

Oof Kudus leading the league in take ons that don't lead to a shot or chance created really sort of encapsulates Spurs' season, huh?
Who are the most impactful dribblers in the Premier League?

Jérémy Doku has certainly staked his claim...

Frederick Wiseman, RIP — and thanks — few filmmakers have come closer, in any form, to seeing and making us see the vital drama, strangeness, harshness and comedy of our existence in society and its systems than he did in his many masterpieces

The successful effort to force Biden out signaled to elite media that they had a veto over Democratic Party primary voters. Whether they successfully exercise it or simply try to in 2028 is an open question but bet your sweet nippy they’re going to try.
Have you ever once seen the New York Times quote Trump like this?

One of my best friends in high school was a Spurs fan, and he introduced me to them. I lost track of them after high school, but when my friend passed nearly twenty years ago, I started watching again as a memory of our good times together.
❔How did you end up as a Spurs supporter?

For me, it was in 2001 when my hero, Kasey Keller, joined the club. He didn’t play much that year but I quickly grew to love Ledley King and Simon Davies.

What’s your story?

I think if I had a Nazi tattoo, and I wanted to be famous and hold elected office, I would have that shit removed, unless I was seeking the votes of people who are more likely to support me because of my Nazi tattoo.

You can tell this works because "One Billion Americans" is enjoying broad popularity and is widely supported by readers of Matt Yglesias
A critique I hear of me sometimes is that I don’t believe in changing public opinion.

What I would say is that I don’t really think *working politicians* should be focused on changing opinion, that’s the job for everyone else — go out and persuade someone!

It's funny, but now that Frank has been sacked, I don't really feel like I have a lot to say about Spurs. I think they will stay up comfortably, I don't think that ownership is any closer to having a clue, and I think the football will remain pretty mediocre. The season feels done to me

The thing is, Pedro Neto isn't great, which is why since signing him, Chelsea keeps trying to upgrade on him.

Fuck all the way off with this disingenuous bullshit, like it's the language and not what the words meant.
The billionaire INEOS owner, Jim Ratcliffe, said in a statement: 'I am sorry that my choice of language has offended some people in the UK and Europe and caused concern'

It's shameful for Arsenal of course, but also just a disgrace for the entire league and UEFA. Any football fan should question whether they really believe their club would do better and endorse reform that would force them to
One day there will be a reckoning for how Arsenal Football Club dealt with this case. And I’m afraid that includes the manager

I may not get a good Spurs season, but Forest getting relegated is my remaining big hope for the season
Nottingham Forest have sacked head coach Sean Dyche after four months in charge.

Dyche’s last game with the team was a 0-0 draw with the Premier League’s bottom side Wolves, in which Forest had 35 shots.

I'm just some guy, but I guess the thing is that there is no way to prepare for the industrial revolution. It changed the lives of everyone in such multifaceted, unpredictable ways. If it is life-changing tech, then the change will be beyond our imagination. We should know our values and be true
I confess I do not understand why “the left should prepare for the worst case scenario with AI and jobs” seems to have elicited such a strong negative reaction bsky.app/profile/chri...
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.
