Person living in Brooklyn who does stuff, much of it enjoyable
CM Hudson is my council member. I can't help but to notice that her office hasn't been responding to multiple inquiries over several weeks to speak with her about the importance of our public libraries here in Brooklyn and in our city.
New: Leading City Council speaker hopeful Crystal Hudson raked in campaign cash from real estate interests at a time her website claimed she wasn’t taking such donations.

She dropped the pledge from her website entirely before launching her speaker run. www.nydailynews.com/2025/11/12/n...

So, I guess Merrick Garland also had all this information about Trump and Epstein and just didn't do anything about that either, huh?

"And we are eager to work with them to help out our farmers and to get more police on the streets"
the only thing democrats should be saying today is “the entire republican party is engaged in a coverup of the most notorious child sex trafficking ring in world history”

It's important to understand that Weiss was brought in to destroy CBS News in the same way Will Lewis was brought in to destroy the Washington Post. People who want to be informed about the news need to simply abandon CBS News; there is no bottom and there won't be one
“I’ve been hearing that standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She also asked openly, ‘What’s the point of standards?’” one CBS source said.

Democrats would be more likely to win next November if the entire Democratic Senate went on a mini sub to visit the Titanic wreckage too, yet here we are Sheldon, here we fucking are
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Can the Democrats, against all odds, once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

If Odobert and Tel come good, and one of Sarr/Bergvall starts in the double pivot every match, Spurs will be a very different team than we've seen so far this year

Do we live in a "stronger, fairer nation" today than we did in 1987? In 2007? In 2019? There are over two million fewer AFL-CIO members today than there were in 1987
Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a trailblazer who wielded power with clarity of purpose and an unwavering commitment to working families everywhere.

America’s unions thank her for building a stronger, fairer nation—and for always standing in solidarity with us. https://bit.ly/3LPJoLO

Growing up, were there any moments in movies that traumatized you?

I saw this movie at 12 with absolutely no idea or warning what it was about. I still think it's an extraordinarily hard watch

"The Purge 26: Billionaires" would be the most popular electoral platform imaginable, except that a bunch of billionaires would do everything they can to make sure no one ever heard about it
I’ll keep pushing this line of analysis because I’m increasingly convinced the clearest path out of this mess is for Dems to adopt a relentless anti-corruption, anti-inequality, anti-oligarchy, pro-democracy platform. The Dem leadership hasn’t realized it yet, but they’re now a reform party.
