Just about to go and see the estate agent. 11 viewings so far on the house, with another 7 lined up this week already. Very good start I reckon. Haven't sold a house before so no idea about how long likely offers might take to come in but agent seems very happy. Will find out more shortly.

Got home late last night after 3 days in Devon. Rolled in to work this morning and was 'summoned' to the big boss's office. Despite the newbies being so shit they have decided I have done enough and so they're paying me up to the end of the month and putting me on gardening leave. Fine by me!

4 days off so driving down to Devon to check out a few areas and speak to some estate agents. While I'm away there will be NINE people viewing my house! Paul, my estate agent, says he's had over 40 emails and hasn't had time to reply to them all. He's expecting offers from most of them.

6am phone call from work - one of the newbies fucked up a bay check (9 bays, actually) and three trucks went out with the wrong loads on them. Shift 'Manager' was busy somewhere else (pin in that). As we don't know which areas went out on which trucks now, I have to go in and sort the mess out.

With another group of newbies today and they are the worst. We did a role play of what to do when an unscheduled delivery arrives. The first thing to do is check the live database to see if we've ever received anything from that courier before. The test courier name is "Big Bombs R Us"...

Since the break room got re-purposed, we now have a small static caravan with a kettle & a fridge in it and it's as cold inside as it is outside. Not even a table, just a few fold-up chairs.

Counting down the weeks until I finally walk out of this job. I'm only in 2 days a week now but they feel so long.
The new guys I'm training up are fucking useless. Part of my pay-off involves successful completion of their probationary period& if it wasn't me assessing them, they would all fail.
