No “clean CR” exists when Trump defies Congress and unilaterally guts programs—from law enforcement to pediatric cancer research to clean energy projects.

Republicans want Democratic cover to keep breaking the law. Democrats won’t play along.

Donald Trump is breaching the Constitution and breaking the law.

A show of force so he can militarize our cities because of the 2026 elections.

We need to stand up together and speak up.

I really think this is why the subway looms so large in the conservative American mind. Because 99% of the time it is proof that the American experiment in diversity triumphs, as long as paranoid white people aren’t there

This is what the states should’ve been doing from the start to stop lawless ice goons. About damn time.

Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.

If Dems win in 2026, we need hearings to publicize the abuses by federal law enforcement. Then pass a bill creating a path to sue for those abuses. Trump will veto it. Let him. Let the public see these videos & hear from victims, & then learn there's no way to hold the abusive officers accountable.

My basic orientation towards this story is that someone who comes here and turns around struggling schools is more worthy of being an American than any of Stephen Miller’s goons, no matter what a piece of paper says.

The regime is acting this way because there are no consequences so it is clear that consequences—the development of them, the advocacy for them, the imposition on bad behavior—are the answer to our crisis.

So we need housing supply at both ends. One needs the full weight of public resources, the other just needs people to stop whining about *luxury housing* and let developers build.

Arlington Housing Needs Analysis released today. We have over 9k renter households earning less than 30% AMI, but only 1,680 rental units affordable to them. Deeply affordable units have to be a priority. Also, we have over 14k renter hhs earning 150%+ AMI, and only 2,700 rental units at that level.

Would be great if all Democrats used the privilege and power of their position to say this stuff on TV, to reporters, over and over and over again. Buy ads! Promote social posts!

I'll never understand why pols don't have pressers every day. Explain to Americans why things are the way they are!

Good morning.

The government is shut down because Trump wants to act like a king and steal from you.

Democrats have no obligation to support a budget that funds the destruction of our democracy - and DOUBLES health premiums to fund a tax cut for billionaires.

The grotesque spectacle we saw today was nothing less than an effort to prepare the US military to violently suppress the mass protests the Trump regime knows are coming, as the full effects of their plundering become clear to everyone.

for starter's... i think it's time to drop this notion of a starter home.

there are basically no affordable homes for first time buyers that can accrue enough equity to buy larger homes.

the floor is just way too high at this point. land costs, financing, dev costs, etc.

I hope it's clear to everyone now that Trump really is going for it - he's trying to become a dictator. I don't know if he'll succeed, but he's working to install himself as an autocrat unaccountable to voters. And he's weaponizing the military against Americans who oppose him as part of that effort

Now might be a good time for Democrats to remind people that when they return to power they will not hesitate to prosecute people who murder civilians.

You don’t have to read between the lines. Trump is literally saying, publicly and out loud, that he is at war — actual, military-involved war — with Americans and American cities he personally dislikes. That impeachment is politically off the table is a national scandal.

Trump: You know, our inner cities, which we'll be talking about because it's a big part of war now, a big part of war.
