it really can't be said enough that this is a person who has dined with the president of the united states
Fuentes then fantasizes about “breeding gulags”: “So just like Hitler imprisoned Gypsies, Jews, communists, you know, all of his political rivals, we have to do the same thing with women… They go to the breeding gulags. The good ones will be liberated. The bad ones will toil in the mines forever.”

We're each of us "only halfway home" and having to journey on, looking back at the fire's from which we crawled out of, to the new life we're trying our hand at. Not new as in: free of all that happened to us, but new as in: despite what happened, we tend to the life that remains in us.

"Evan Farr, an elder law attorney in Lorton, Virginia, who wrote “The Nursing Home Survival Guide,” says visiting a facility at night or on the weekend can be particularly revealing." Overnight. I repeat, the overnight staffing level matters most and non-residents will never see this. On purpose.
The need to move to a nursing home, assisted living facility or another type of care setting often comes suddenly, setting off an abrupt, daunting search. It’s likely something no one ever wanted, but knowing what to look for and what to ask can make a big difference.
How to protect a loved one when choosing a nursing home or assisted living facility
The need to move a loved one into a nursing home or assisted living facility often comes suddenly — after a fall, a medical crisis or the loss of a caregiver.

Sharing. Amplifying. My niece lives less than a mile from where Alex Pretti was shot down. Every day requires her to navigate a violent, above-the-law military force. In Minneapolis.
A desperate plea sent to me by a Minneapolis resident who's been on the front lines since the beginning of the ICE occupation:

Point missed. All the Admin has to do is sow fear and confusion, paid for by public monies! Meanwhile, individual agencies are on the hook to consult attorneys and assume they will incur unaffordable legal costs. Trump has zero qualms throwing elderly whites under the bus. He simply does not care.
#Fact: Three Haitian #immigrants working in #Massachusetts for a homecare organization were laid off this week, despite a federal court order that affirmed job protections for people with temporary protected status.

Why? Inconsistent laws, confusion, and fear.

“I hope this thing’s recording. Okay Marla, I only have a few seconds. My life insurance policy’s in the top drawer of the desk in my study. My broker Ted’s number is in my phone, call him. Also, ask Phil to come by and get rid of the box we talked about, he’ll know what I mean.”
