The aging pedophile who wants to be a king has kidnapped the leader of a sovereign nation without congressional approval.

If the United States had an opposition party, they would treat this as an illegitimate act and start impeachment proceedings immediately.

Hi, I'm anonymous gunshot.
Howdy! I'm most recently an uncaught case of Lyme disease, but in the past I was like three homophobic high schoolers with baseball bats

The entire city living in sheer panic of dying in a fire for 10 days straight really set the tone.
I truly cannot believe the year we have had.

definitely in the running for worst year Los Angeles has ever had in my lifetime. In many ways worse than 2020!

Perfect album please from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice in Chains:
My frequent playing of "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" at the bookstore where I worked likely drove colleagues and customers batty.

What kind words! 🙏🏻
perhaps niche, but I heartily recommend Designing with Palms. It's so well written and laid out. Really a delight to find a clear mission with the chapters. Lush, genuinely usefully inspiring, realistic, practical. Fun. fantastic at every level.

The largest inflorescence in the plant kingdom is flowering now in the middle of Rio de Janeiro.
It's 25-feet tall and composed of millions of flowers. Crowning the talipot palm, Corypha umbraculifera, its emergence marks the end of the life of the tree.

Make America jaundiced again.
Breaking: After contentious debates and three failed attempts at a vote, a federal vaccine committee decided on Friday to end the decades-long recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

It's become normal now for high-level political figures to argue that an entire generation was brainwashed through fake videos into mass anti-Israel political mobilization by TikTok. Complete conspiracy thinking, rooted in zero evidence, based on nothing
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

Calling oppressive political and social practices exhausting in big public ways can be dispiriting rhetoric for fighting against oppression.
How about publicly calling awful systems and oppressive practices "infuriating"instead? Save the "exhausting" for intimates and comrades?

Another quasi-celebrity interview with KMcK that precipitated warm and fuzzies for me (so uncool!) was Hillary Clinton's, on her pod.

I’m no great fan of the ACA.

I believe we should guarantee health care as a human right through a single-payer Medicare for All system.

But — at minimum — we cannot allow Republicans to destroy our already-broken system by doubling insurance premiums for 20 million Americans.

Unacceptable. There are 189,000 people in my district who will be paying 50–300% more for the same, and in many cases worse, healthcare.

I won’t do that to the people I represent. I’m a NO on this “deal.”
