Before America voted for Trump a second time I’d never realised how racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, and ignorant America was. Now the veneer of decency has peeled away and we’ve seen their true face no matter what happens in the future, everything American will be forever tarnished.

Ive been in educ for 37 yrs.
I've learned new tech initially makes u more efficient & saves u time, but then u r given new tasks & that extra time disappears & u have even less time.
More responsibilities & less time.
No wonder there r so many mental health issues.

So the best part of my lesson on Friday was when the students discovered I had been anonymously putting cat stickers on my colleagues stuff in the office. The students then demanded cat stickers to put on their own things. These are third year university students in their early twenties. ☺️

I'm so sick of hearing these whines about higher costs for employers. What they're really moaning about is people - particularly in the public sector - getting long overdue pay rises. As anyone should know, if poorer people have more money they spend it and it's good for the economy. #r4today

I had occasion today to dig out papers I wrote as an undergrad English major, to go through notes written by my professors. Some real shit in there but the care and attention I was given, the way my ideas were taken seriously—this is a beautiful thing whose value I dearly hope we're not forgetting.
