Real average hourly earnings for frontline employees decreased 0.2% from Nov to Dec, seasonally adjusted.

This stems from a 0.1-percent increase in average
hourly earnings combined with an increase of 0.2 percent in consumer prices.

Frontline = 4 in 5 employees who are production & nonsupervisory

In every state we’ve studied, private schools demand deposits and fees well before ESA $ are available. Call it what it is: school choice with a cover charge, rationing access by who can pay up front.

Here is a great example of a Texas private school's fees - many of which families will have to pay out of pocket before any state ESA money will kick in.

Why the hell is the dem party not trying to primary him?!?!?!?!?!?

If he votes like a republican, then HE IS A REPUBLICAN.
GOOD:

The Working Families Party launched a website where, among other efforts, voters can request refunds from Fetterman’s campaign."

People in MN should stop paying their federal income tax!!!!!

(I nknow this cant really happen, but if NOT A SINGLE person sent theirs in, it would be interesting to see what happened.)

This is 100% accurate.

All those InfoWar folks screaming about the coming authoritarianism of govt and the trampling of rights are now actually out doing what they screamed about for 20 years.
So, if I'm following all this correctly, a bunch of internet shitposters who spent years screaming "don't tread on me" and warning about federal agents stomping out people's rights... have been hired as ICE agents to go around breaking into people's homes, kidnapping & shooting them

Gavin Newsom is a presidential frontrunner in part because he not only talked the talk about fighting Trump, but came up with and executed a plan to actually do it. Other Democrats should take note. Words and stern letters ain’t sufficient.

Virginia's legislative session only started yesterday, and it was a very big day.

The House already passed four constitutional amendments on Day 1:
—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

Next: Senate.

Right wing media: dont fuck with the market!!!

Also right wing media: its fine to kidnap, disappear, and maim, and kill US citizens for no reason.
The right-wing media backlash against the Jerome Powell probe emphasized the lack of a constituency for strong-arming the Fed into endorsing Trump’s policy agenda with apparent pretextual legal threats.

In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence.

In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home.

Reminder that these kind of door-to-door “general warrants” are both explicitly illegal and also a major trigger for the American Revolution.
A video of ICE agents conducting door-to-door searches today in Minneapolis

The homeowner requests a warrant repeatedly, is told they don't require one, then is told they're getting it, then the agents storm in anyway

They also point a taser at her to try and disrupt filming

Brutalizing young American citizens because they are Brown
This is f*cked up!

There isn’t any law in this country that requires you to provide proof of citizenship on the interior, but unfortunately ICE is racially profiling.

And they don’t care if you say you’re a US citizen.

So where does this leave everyone? If you don’t look white, you’re in danger.
