I had to give up today. I spent hours (with my brain and with AI) trying to give the customer what they wanted with a custom modification to an e-commerce setup. In the end, there were too many moving parts and a high likelihood of having tech debt moving forward. Not satisfying.

100% not. Which is why when I write about it I point out the flaws and history of the mess rather than simply amplifying the batshittery coming from the CEO. To me that's more important than making sure I get to share everything that's "happening" via releases.

A few weeks ago my colleagues at WestJet had a gear collapse while landing in St Maarten.
It was reported as a “hard landing” and the pilots were blamed in the media.
Much less media coverage with the initial TSB report.
Not a hard landing.
Not the pilots’ fault.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

I had a surreal time at the Dubai Airshow. I was able to experience the A380 for the first time with Emirates on the ride there (no, not upstairs), and enjoy some of the sights in the city. Connecting with friends and @infiniteflight.com users while on the other side of the globe was truly unique.
