I like cats and I dislike billionaires. I make Android apps and talk about imposter syndrome. I don't think LLMs are a bad thing, but they are a dumb thing being way over used and controlled by said billionaires. From the US, living in Bergen, Norway 🇳🇴

bro there’s a gofundme to crowdfund attorney fees for a preschooler who was kidnapped by our federal government and shipped across state lines and his senator is posting about high school hockey while every other elected official is debating whether to give a zillion more dollars to the kidnappers

The disconnect between management and employee on AI usage is big. At the same time, CEOs are reporting they aren't seeing any revenue growth from AI.

CEOs Say AI Is Making Work More Efficient. Employees Tell a Different Story.
How much time workers say the technology saves them on the job is vastly different from what executives report.

Will we wake up tomorrow to news of bombings in Iran? I feel like I've heard some news about another country killing protesters...

I just want somebody to tell me everything is going to be ok. I'm tired of being the strong one.

Let's reuse the ICE detention centers to hold the ICE agents after they are prosecuted. Hire the former occupants as the guards.

So much stuff is happening and escalating and the Epstein files still haven't been released. I'm ready to get off this ride. Can we please make it stop? It's devolved to straight up murder now.

Here's the ICE agent "defending himself" by shooting into the driver's side window of a car that's pulling *away* from him.

Put this photo on the front page of every newspaper in America.

If the DEA had killed 80 innocent Americans in the course of apprehending one drug dealer, there would be riots. But we are so ghoulishly indifferent to the lives and humanity of people abroad that it's barely even part of the conversation.
A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

40 civilians murdered. How is this any different from what Russia is doing to Ukraine?
The New York Times has just confirmed that 40 civilians died in President Trump's invasion.

This is the aftermath in one area

If America's government won't save us from a dictator nobody likes, can somebody else come invade us to help out? I hear we've got lots of oil and recently got access to a lot more.
