The first bit is a little aimless but it starts shining later I think.
Also you could skip it for Silk Song (faster moving, more clearly plotted) but the difficulty curve would be kind of annoying I suspect.

One weird thing about robotics is that, at least fairly recently robotics as field in programming was:
- way fucking harder than most jobs in the field
- way worse paid than most jobs in the field

It's basically impossible to earn a living as an independent commentator on the left.

By contrast, Fox and its imitators *constantly* elevate new voices and encourage people to get involved.

They pool their resources. They recycle their dollars and keep them in-network. They crowdfund like crazy.

Like, I have extended family who are not *that* old and talk about the hybrid vigor that my wife's lineage has introduced into the bloodline. We've got flavors of reactionary over here that are like those wines that have intentional salt and rocks in the bottle.
