Perfect weather for old cars today

I could see that. I’m not tall so I tend to fit these pretty well.

My dad’s Healy was an example where I really didn’t like driving it the first time but it grew on me quite a bit. Amazing car but maybe to your point it also drove a lot more truck like than even an MGB for example.

For me, older cars like this, especially as you get into the 50’s, take some adjusting to for what they are and what they aren’t. They ultimately end up making most modern cars feel less engaging to drive for me.

That said, I really really do not like front drum brakes.

It all comes down to what you’re trying to do and what your expectations are.

It’s hard to pick this stuff - between places that do bad work, can’t get things done, or are absurdly expensive it can feel like there isn’t a good decision.

I will say is there seems to be this misconception online that good paint jobs are cheap and/or easy to get done- they really are neither.

Are they trying to make it like, a nice driver, or go all-out with a really good paint job?

Me and my old buddies did a 1000 mile "Mille Miglia" over the last few days through the High Peaks area of the Adirondak Mountains. Our host led us through some of the best roads in the US. We had a Boxter, 3 Caymans, a '61 Jaguar E-type and a Subi WRX-STI. Climbed the Whiteface trail + a fire tower

I have no idea, probably? I saw a bright yellow S2 the other week and that looked really nice..

It could, who knows. The silly JPS badge supposedly makes it worth more even though there’s literally nothing different about the cars.

lol maybe I should just print that picture and claim it

If it’s the site I’m thinking, mines just listed as “Rough/needs to be restored.” No update since 2004 though, haha

All I know is it came in through a dealer in Michigan and it’s JPS #003

Shit, there’s a non-zero chance that’s my car, lol

It’s beautiful and orange and probably worse than anyone can imagine 🙂

I kind of like the non-M Z3 coupe more than the M.

Any big city these days I guess. Really insane as this is all…easily verifiable but that’s probably completely beside the point.

I wear cardigans a lot and have been labelled as a “liberal” lol

I was briefly in Portland for work last year. One of the people I was with is a Trump supporter and genuinely seemed a little freaked out. Wonder if it was because not everyone on the street was dressed in business casual. lol.

Toad sipped his tea. “Frog,” he asked, “are you making this up?”

“Maybe yes and maybe no,” said Frog.
Toad leans forward in his chair, sipping tea, transfixed by Frog's ghost story.

At the time it came out the E36 seemed like, at least to me, a huge and modern step-forward for their styling.

I feel the E36 design is generally underrated - I think it’s my favorite 3 series.
