@katie.bzky.team @jazzpomegranate.com @stonedbutchblues.bsky.social I just wanted to apologize for my idiocy and flawed assumptions last night one last time. I’m sorry, and will take the opportunity to try and do better in a number of areas going forward.

I think there could potentially be value in a game using a niche fetish like pony play to explore structural oppression in liberal society, but I’m not sure it’s the right hill to die on at the momen?

Rolling Stone: clearly documents a 30+ year long con job. A rural county's own leadership lined their pockets by helping ag interests destroy the water supply.

Everyone who read the article apparently??: Amazon data centers did this in 2011

I’m iffy on this issue, maybe a real lawyer can weigh in, but a pardon is a fundamental acknowledgement of guilt, which should make any civil case against a pardoned individual for financial crimes open and shut?

They are beating people who maybe once had a broken taillight and sending them to foreign slave prisons while freeing the worst fraudsters and every corrupt pol. The juxtaposition is so stark and appalling.
NEW: The commutation Trump issued to David Gentile wipes away all further fines & restitution.

Gentile had been sentenced to 7 years for his role in a $1.6B scheme that defrauded thousands of investors.

Prosecutors had been seeking $15.5M in forfeiture.

i'd go even further and say there is a reason even nixon kept this kind of stuff to himself. you would have to go back quite a bit to find a point at which is acceptable for a president to say anything like this *in public*, to say nothing of in the oval office.
I don’t want to be pollyannish about the past, but it was basically inconceivable twenty years ago that a president would say this publicly
Trump: "It’s a hellhole right now. And those Somalians should be out of here. They've destroyed our country. And all they do is complain, complain, complain. You have her. She’s always talking about the Constitution provides me with – go back to your own country and figure out your constitution."
