2 years ago I listened to every podcast Nagle had done. This accurately, but not wholly, summarizes what I found. Natalism, racism, a desire to see universities and NGOs destroyed. Her positions are no different in substance from any other far right influencer in that time.

Nagle was feted by the right because she was willing to roll out increasingly demented attacks on socialists. On Tucker Carlson’s show she took cheap shots at DSA convention nerds; in The Lamp she repeated sleazy lies about Black Lives Matter organizers from Breitbart. The notion that she was being goaded into all of this is hard to reconcile with the fact that she had closed down her Twitter account, which for 90% of her critics meant that she ceased to exist. What really happened is that Nagle found one of the easiest and most lucrative media niches there is: left apostate.

Whatever happens in Palestine, we have to keep fighting for an end to apartheid. A settlement was annexed? That is not permanent. We will have a free Palestine.

Did an end to apartheid in South Africa seem impossible? It ended too.

The electorate voted for a senate that has a majority of ALP and Greens.

Murray Watt and the ALP are choosing instead to write laws that will please the LNP and mining companies.

This is not the outcome a majority of Australians voted for.
