I think it’s hard for people who have never known food insecurity to understand this… children and seniors will absolutely suffer, KIDS AND SENIORS and republicans are a-ok with that… this is not the fault of the Dems, this TOTALLY falls at the feet of 47 and his goons. This DOESN’T have to happen.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
