I’ve been thinking a lot lately how it is essential to the rebuilding of democracy and the rule of law that those who rode roughshod over them face justice and are seen to face justice. I believe it needs to be part of any effective truth and reconciliation process. You can’t just hug this out.

Took a Waymo for the first time in SF today. Pretty #weirdcarbs by any measure. Surprisingly smooth, adaptive driving - car figured out we were stuck behind a truck parked in a turn lane only about 15 seconds after I did 😏
