Current status-- actively demanding that one of my (only) 200 words in my up coming review of (the brilliant) DEAD BUT DREAMING OF ELECTRIC SHEEP by @paultremblay.bsky.social has to be the word "abide."

If you know you know. And soon you will all know.

My favorite format. Such a bummer.
I haven't read a mass market paper back in years, but I'm sad to see them go. My first Poe was a mmp my mom bought in a drugstore. We were so broke, all I could afford were stripped mmps with no covers for a dime each. But they changed my life. RIP mmps

It can be told!

I’ve read the screenplay; it’s wild and I love it. I can’t wait to see Franz and Fiala put it all on screen.

The book was just added to Goodreads too

Which makes it the first of my books where the title is too long to fit in the Author Dashboard 🫠 I didn't even know that was possible

SNEAK PEEK: The fun thing about a short story collection is you get to pay homage to all the other short story authors who have influenced and delighted you. Hence, this chonker of a dedication page (which still managed to leave names out on accident).

Have you preordered your copy yet? 👀🗝️🔑

I can't take credit for the pronunciations, but, when @simonaudio.bsky.social had questions, I have friends who know how to say what, and were/are willing to help. but it was fun having Arthur and Good Stab and Etsy get through their words/pronunciations slightly differently.
This book. 🤯
10/10 especially if you live anywhere near Blackfoot country. A Kainai friend said the audiobook pronunciations are incredible too, if you can get it.
Thanks for bringing this into the world @sgj.bsky.social

"A far-out premise, and Keaton doesn't shy away from it: this is a wacky, entertaining, occasionally terrifying story. The writing is light and breezy on the surface but with dark undercurrents that keep the reader just a little bit off-kilter. If that sounds like great fun, you're right."

Posting a little late, but loved DaCosta’s 28 Years Later! It doesn't just give us zombies; it gives us the banality of evil. Jack O’Connell channels the ghost of Jimmy Savile in a role that is also a terrifying reflection for our own time. My review: hollywoodprogressive.com/literature/d...

I peep a new @brianevenson.bsky.social story on the horizon.
I know issue 12 isn't even out yet—soon—but revel in the glory of the cover and contributors of issue 13 (Summer). Art by James Hutton. Design by Vince Haig.

I'll be doing a big pre-order push soon on our 2026 titles to try and secure some much-needed operating funds.
