Oof, HarperCollins has seemingly changed their royalty statement format, and it sure is something.

Also, poor ECLIPSE and CAPTURE are probably just not going to earn out at this point, and ECLIPSE THE MOON was one of my favorite books to write. 😭

I don’t LOVE writing them, but for me they’re easier in a lot of ways than a blurb, since I’m just recapping the story and not trying to be (as) catchy and concise.

I would still rather do almost anything else, though, lol.

I’m actually pretty good at writing pitch blurbs! Anything is possible, whee!

But then the book fills in and the details change and I have to redo the blurb to match what I’ve written and ugh.

Ooh, tea time would’ve been perfect! I ended up eating a piece of fruit because I didn’t think I was going to make it to dinner—but I also didn’t want to make dinner right now, either. 😭

I got busy and forgot to eat lunch and now I’m in that liminal space that’s too late for lunch and too early for dinner.
