Noire needs no protection. I am just as much a participant in Noire's perception as the beholder. If I feel someone has perceived her wrong, there is some responsibility on my part to address. As long as I am confident in my portrayal of her, I do not wish to exert control over her perception.
Is there anything you're overprotective of with your oc? Something you hope other people never ask or point out?
For example I'm terrified of people saying René's head is too small. Multiple have said it, and I do his c+ next to refs of strong men and overlay photos to get it right. #wolqotd

Noire needs no protection. I am just as much a participant in Noire's perception as the beholder. If I feel someone has perceived her wrong, there is some responsibility on my part to address. As long as I am confident in my portrayal of her, I do not wish to exert control over her perception.
Dropping the whole backstory is a good way to filter in partners who have a way to interact with Noire's hooks.
Without knowing her whole deal, she's very normal person. Interactions with her tend to be mundane. Her backstory is a part of her that she doesn't want known until they're vetted.

Noire was confused by Sphene's behavior until it became clear that she was nothing more than a sophisticated golem. Hating Endless Sphene is like hating a stone. Who threw the stone? That's the more important question.

Noire is an adventurer by trade. While she has medical licensure, the place where she got it isn't a good environment to practice medicine anymore, and Eorzea's rigor for medical accreditation is less stringent. Often, the less adventurey adventures get left with the guild. She takes mostly those.
What would you say is your character's main source of income IC? Do they earn their gil through random quests on their adventure, or are they perhaps a skilled crafter?
Would you say your character is well off or more on the poor side?

Wardrobe malfunctions rank low on Noire's importance scale. Clothes in her size aren't easy to come by, and her body doesn't always behave when high energy adventuring is involved. She has a spell to keep all her bits in place, but we don't always get what we want. . .

Noire's portions in that regard are prohibitively large. It is challenge enough to find undergarments that fit her, to say nothing of those that look fancy in so doing. If she wants fancy looking stuff in her size, she's literally going to Eulmore
