The last time I saw Oranssi was at Camden Underworld a few years back and it was one of the most intense and psychedelic live sets I’ve ever experienced.

Getting really good at eating all the bananas I buy before they turn to mush. Self-improvement is real.

I was thinking along these lines recently. The whole film hits very differently with this in mind.

They Live is a fantastic film but every time I introduce it to a Gen Z friend I'm reminded that the plot boils down to, "two hobos carry out a series of workplace mass shootings because they believe half the population are aliens wearing human skin"

I'm going to try some of this new scorpion flavoured condiment on my lasagne tonight for sh*ts and giggles. Although, I'm concerned the end result may induce the former rather than the latter.

As social media gets stupider and stupider, we're starting to return focus to our website. First up is keeping our shows calendar accurate. If you're in a DBA act and have a show for us to list, let us know!

"The very first time I played it live, we went to CBGB’s for a show with Boss Hogg, and there was a band from Detroit. I don’t remember what they were called. And I had it hidden on the side. I remember taking it out, and you could hear a gasp in the place."

Pretty sure I was at this show!

I bought 6FS’s Severe Exposure on release (30 years ago) and have cherished it ever since, so it was an absolute pleasure to get the lowdown on its creation from the Bad Comrade himself J Ryan.

“You’re banned, you can’t chant that, you’re nicked for holding a sign, you’re kids are poorer, you’re colder, you have to have an ID card and the racists have legitimate concerns in our island of strangers… now vote for us or Farage wins.”

When I was a kid UK wrestler Brian Maxine aka Goldbelt was a family friend for reasons that are unclear to me now. He also recorded country albums with Fairport Convention. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_M...

In general, your favorite entertainers care WAY more about money than you think. Yes, including the leftists, environmentalists, punk rockers and raging anti-capitalists. There's a reason movie stars do TV ads and launch gin brands. These are, above all else, hyper-efficient moneymaking machines.
