Of COURSE many of us are brutal to ourselves wrt our bodies and body image. But that doesn’t mean we can’t also hurt other (fatter) people in the process. Indeed, it is a major engine of anti-fatness. And not intending to hurt fatter people doesn’t mean we don’t.

It also fucking sucks that so many people on the Left(s) refuse to understand anti-fatness as a system of oppression, and fat liberation as a legitimate anti-oppression movement.
It sucks, because it's all connected, and if you don't see this part, you don't have a clear understanding of the whole.

I think every millennial woman I know either still has an active eating disorder or is recovering from one and there is a grief in watching it happen again that I didn’t see coming if I’m being honest
It has come to my attention recently that due to recent events my fabulousness cannot fit the bounds of my winter outerwear so I have decided that I need winter gear that fits my current phase of life: just a big fuckin coat; long, fluffy, just so much coat

To be honest I’ve always found the Rupi Kaur hate manufactured and incredibly tired. There are countless writers out there doing a worse job. Sorry if that’s upsetting to the people who have made hating her their whole personality.

If your parents are well off enough to send you to one, but not connected enough to help you through university you're fucked because your school teachers softballed you due to your parents being the employer but profs won't give a shit.

When you buy a car, the company provides you with keys or a key fob.
Purchasing a smartphone is a whole other transaction.
It isn't "convenient." it is inserting a separate step in a fairly simple transaction to add value for a middleman.
