DOJ told a federal judge that it contained and investigated the scene of Pretti's murder. But from this report, it looks like all federal agents left the scene completely unattended within a few hours—a major breach of protocol that contaminated potential evidence. slate.com/news-and-pol...

I have a paper coming out next week on how much the fiscal outlook has deteriorated under Trump

I wanted to share one of the graphs early. We spent 14 years w/ very low borrowing rates. That is no longer the case

That part isn't Trump's fault (higher deficits are), but it's something to reckon w/

I really can’t exaggerate how completely weird this move in silver is. Markets just don’t go parabolic for months at a time. Speaks to the fundamental cause of this move in silver: momentum and nobody with a balance sheet to take the other side of the move.

This morning, I recorded a video on TikTok about why DHS’s arguments for the power to enter homes without judicial warrants in immigration cases are bunk.

Nine hours later, TikTok still says my video is “under review,” and can’t be shared.

Well, here’s a link:

What a stunning statement from @wsj.com Editorial Board:

"Pretti attempted, foolishly, to assist a woman who had been pepper-sprayed by agents."

When did it become foolish to come to the aid of another? If anything it is a human instinct, especially for those in the nursing profession.
The WSJ - becoming more critical of the shooting itself, while partly blaming the victim, and saying video evidence "isn't always conclusive" - says that Trump was "surprisingly nuanced" on deportations when he visited their offices in October.
"The Trump Administration spin on this simply isn’t believable. Stephen Miller, the political architect of the mass deportation policy, called Pretti a 'domestic terrorist.' He was a nurse without a criminal record." @wsj.com
