A single crow call answered by a triple the silence. At 5.30. A crow lazily glided over the terrace ridge as I left to cycle to the station. I saw several more along the way. Fab dawn. Belated #FirstBirdofMyDay

#dailydrawing weekend break 3 if 3 has begun. Why do I set myself these challenges. But continuing the colour theme ! Too much train joggles to try paint. So now to enjoy south of Berwick view in a wet dusk. Maybe one evening this week, but a lot of deadlines. @saocousins.bsky.social @@DrRJWarren

'Senegalese gardener.' (1922) After a successful start to his career in London, Rudolph Ihlee journeyed to Collioure in the Mediterranean, where the 'blond light that suppresses shadows,' had a profound effect on his work as he experimented with a spontaneous style of painting.

#TeamMoth on tour. Near Seahouses. 18 of 9 Every shade of lunat underwing. Started chilly and clear. Actinic had gone out by 3pm, battery issues - annoying after 3 years of weekly summerise trapping. Well pleased with first ever Redgree carpet and green Brindley crescent. One mystery. Pics on reply

Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria): This fungi is easily identifiable thanks to its bright red colouring and white spots, and is often featured in a number of fairytales. A reindeer favourite associated in Scandinavia with hallucinations of flying reindeer. it is poisonous to humans 🍄 #fungi #flyagaric
