It's Holocaust Remembrance Day, and I'm thinking about how the Flossenbürg concentration camp was right there on the edge of the village. To remember is to be resilient and attentive.

If I had a time machine I would send cancel culture back to 1989 to get that rich racist blowhard who took out an ad calling for the execution of the central park 5

Soooo like if gun control policy were like...my thing, now would be a fun time to propose some policies while the GOP and NRA are anti gun.

Or at least make them say the quiet part out loud.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

"Three possibilities for action that the church can take vis-a-vis the state [that misuses force]:

1st, questioning the state as to the legitimate state character of its actions..

2nd.. to bind up the wounds of the victims beneath the wheel...

3rd.. to fall within the spokes."

I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that every political leader in Alberta needs to officially come out hard against this separatist nonsense to send a message. Every mayor, every county reeve, every MLA with the stones to speak the truth needs to do it.

THE WOMAN WHO WAS DRAGGED OUT OF HER CAR AND ARRESTED BY ICE SPEAKS OUT…

We’ve all seen the videos, but it matters to hear Aliya Rahman say it herself.

📌 She says her treatment in custody was dehumanizing, and that officers completely failed to take her disability seriously.
