Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

"Most Republicans, so far, have shown no interest in unmasking federal officers in any circumstances"

So... Republicans, in summary, "We have no interest in negotiating, if you wouldn't mind negotiating against yourselves."

And the Democrats are just like "That's our favorite part of the job."

Earlier this year, the Student Loan Ombudsman for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) wrote her annual report on student loans.

It was deeply critical of Trump admin policies.

So they fired her.

Well, we just hired her.

I'm not gonna victim-blame about the poorly plowed roads, but the neighborhood around my kid's school does not give a single shit about their sidewalks. Their thoughts did not extend beyond their own driveways.

One of the sillier things about Delaware I've noticed since moving here is that everyone earnestly uses the little made up names for their suburb developments

In PA it was always understood to be ludicrous to call 20 houses and a cul de sac "Kingsley Heath" or whatever

Never mind what jobs you've had or classes you took in college, tell us five previous addresses! Pls include postal codes.

About to spend a lot of money sending books to Baltimore for AWP and at the same time need to be able to front a print run for our next title. Every dollar that comes in is so so sweet.
Understand that we’re not for everyone and not everyone can buy books and especially that no one can buy every book—but, we have a lot of expenses coming up rapidly and every bit of support, from big to small, helps:
