Genuinely, my mom buying me a Genesis instead of a SNES when I was three. Sonic led to Sonic comics and writing Sonic fanfiction, which inspired my love of comics and creative writing respectively1.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is definitely the most surprising game to get an emotional reaction out of me in a while.

I think this week's episode makes this the longest I've successfully stuck with a campaign of Critical Role, which is simultaneously not much and over a day of runtime.

My comics anniversary thread for the year, which I think/hope was frank and level-headed despite being rambly.
Today is the eleventh anniversary of my decision to pursue comics as a career. As is tradition, I'm going to write a thread about my past year and overall experience with as much honesty as possible.
This, unfortunately, has been a pretty rough year!

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Basically, if the universe wants to give me a big greenlight or the chance to write Sonic, now would be a great time, lol
But, that year's anniversary and equally frustrated thread (which had friends checking in on me!) came just two weeks before the pitch that would lead to Cooking with Monsters, my first graphic novel, getting picked up.
So, you know. There's that!

COVID was the ruling classes experiment to see if people would give up on the social contract to prioritize themselves, once they saw people were willing to let disabled, elderly and poor people die for their own convenience, they have slowly taken the mask fully off day by day and now we are here.

I've definitely come up with a lot of pitches built around similar themes this year, but you want to write about what you want to write about, and eventually a version will have the right genre shell to get through.
