If all this conflicting writing advice is confusing, let me just say as an editor that I've seen random online ultimatums do more damage than not. As in, it's the opposite of what any good editor would suggest and sometimes counter to industry standard & good storytelling

Something didn't feel right with my WIP, so I chopped all the funny scenes and added more horror instead. Aaand, yep, fixed the issue

1) Scurry out to turn on heater
2) Burrow under heat blanket
3) Wait for room to become inferno
4) Skitter through walls to go get coffee
5) Use tunnels back to my goblin den
6) Hide under heat blanket in fiery room and become Balrog

Dude I'd make a horrible influencer, I block every brand and ad I see, my DMs are as locked down as I can make them without kicking out friends, and I start hissing at the mere thought of strangers assuming any kind of personal access to me
