Steamrolling that process by ordering words or art cobbled from a stolen database robs you of discovery and growth. It robs you of better understanding yourself and learning to build on that solid foundation. Being influenced by other art and stories but finding yourself in there too.

Purple Tinted Maple Bowls are now available. An experiment with aniline wood dye and wood turning. I mixed a (water) dye base and some tinted tung oil finish and then applied it carefully to specific sections to achieve this look.

Feels like society’s really broken down in the US in a way that’s deeply traumatic.
But also there are college students knocking on doors asking for shovels (they’re not well-prepared) and helping trapped motorists by shoveling and pushing out cars. Up to 24 of them now, wandering streets together
