Yale researchers analyzed data from 158 million US workers and found that even after the pandemic, COVID-19 continues to raise work absences by 13% and labor force exits by 13%.

The virus has created a new year-round baseline similar to flu season.

In this study afaict, they checked if people who were infected in the autumn of 2023 had more postcovid than those who did not have antibodies to nucleocapsid at all during this period, or who had but did not see it increase and hence probably weren't reinfected in the time period.
Small difference.

At my rutine mammography today, I was the only one masking. Including staff.

But all the other patients almost ran over to use the hygiene sanitizers the second they saw my respirator 🤣 Hand sanitizers on all tables, to make people feel safe. The only one anyway near to actually being safe? Me.

Oavsett vad man tycker om dem i andra frågor är det väl ändå glädjande att det inte var några andra som inte fattade Covid.
Men båda verkar tyvärr nu accepterat läget.

5 years. Kulldorff still can't explain how "focused protection" works in practice. A magical noun phrase that implies that

(a) we can identify all the immunocompromised people at all;
(b) they can lock themselves down, without suffering economic consequences, and
(c) long COVID doesn't exist.
