And I’m unsure of her strategy, but I feel certain she will now have to respond to the many concerns about her allegiance since the world is now focused on her.

It is a difficult time to trust anyone with political power as people around the world are feeling powerless.

That’s a fair observation.

There is no excuse for the American government to bomb anyone without concrete justification.

Machado is a steadfast voice in a turbulent world. I believe she is striving to represent the values of the Venezuelan people.

That’s a fair point, but geo-political movements are shifting so quickly there isn’t much contemplative space.

If she can capture the attention of Rubio/Trump she may get the support she needs to offer Venezuelans the leadership (González) they actually voted for.

It is messed up to be sure.

The use of power against drug cartels doesn’t really track since there are significantly worse areas to target, but showing force against a dictator seems plausible.

Trump is generally only interested in resources, so Venezuela/Machado need to proceed with caution.
