Extremely verbose fan of the comic book medium who won't stop talking about it if you present the chance

That's Bendis's angriest comic, and it's seething with righteous resentment
Bendis has always made his stories about unfairness. Unfairness in the world, unfairness in a systemic and personal level. "Scarlet" is his most direct attack at it
"Goldfish" was pretty good
But "Jinx"...
"Jinx" is the first Bendis masterpiece
Incredible tome. Hefty, complex, daring. Just incredible storytelling. I understand why he would name his independent label "Jinxworld"
Proto Jessica Jones even, a true crime masterpiece

(I can't quite remember which came first, but I think those were the first times I began to see the potential of the superhero to tell stories about heightened and potentialized human feelings. Also, Superman!)

It's fantastic. Maybe my favorite of the Hickman Image 4-parters. Poignant and efficient, perfectly tailored for its space
An archetypical tale with a time shenanigans twist about consequences in Hickman stories

Maybe because I read them a long time ago, I didn't remember these early Hickman stories being so mean. Deep dark humor, to the point of mean-spiritedness
With that said, it's classic Hickman, and it flows beautifully. Very compact.

Incredible tie-in. Incredible payoff for more threads. Really can't wait for Endgame #2

Maybe the shadow of Hickman is still too large, the resolution being very SW

In a bolder world, I would have loved to see a follow-up to this conclusion, the idea of Magneto as a champion for "ALL WHO ARE HATED AND FEARED". In the days of Israel's ongoing genocide of Palestine, it would have been such a powerful theme to explore
