I've dedicated 9 years of my life to Pittsburgh journalism, including 3 years on strike. I'm gutted by this, and I truly hope this means the Blocks will leave Pittsburgh for good. They've done immeasurable damage to our city.

This is awful. In a time where high quality news is rare and important, another local news room is shutting down.

The Post-Gazette was the newspaper I grew up on, and now they're shutting down because they don't want to comply with labor laws.
