As I was taking out the trash around 6:00 pm tonight we had some very light rain.

Certainly glad for any precipitation, but light rain at 6:00 pm on February 12th at over 5,400 feet in elevation in Colorado is not good.

Today = 33rd day at 60°+ this winter in Denver (45% of our winter days).

We'll easily break the record for most 60°+ winter days on record this weekend.

It takes a while into this article to find that Lucy's father told her he wouldn't have been upset if Donald Trump had sexually assaulted her.

And then he shot her.

They just don't make things like they used to. I can't believe we are going to have to replace our refrigerator after only 30 years....

(Sarcasm, although I am not expecting the new one to last for 30 years. Of course, odds aren't totally great that I'll last for 30 more years.)

Exhibit #73 that there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud, but when there are discrepancies it is almost always on behalf of the GOP.
NEW: Utah officials found thousands of potentially invalid and fraudulent signatures in the GOP’s petition to repeal the state’s voter-approved anti-gerrymandering law.

With the deadline looming and tens of thousands of signatures still needed, the repeal drive seems unlikely to be successful.
Utah GOP push to repeal anti-gerrymander law falters amid fraud allegations tied to firm backed by Trump Jr.

WaPo editorial board when TX imposes a legislative gerrymander: don't freak out guys! Not a threat to democracy!

When VA responds to TX with *referendum* on their own gerrymander: brass-knuckled hypocrisy, anti-democratic gamesmanship.

There is hypocrisy here, all right, but not from VA.
