the online safety act is so old, it was proposed by the last government. But the reason its enforcement felt so sudden is that it had no public eyes on it

I don't usually post directly about things like this, but please remember that KOSA isn't the only censorship bill being debated in Congress right now. There's also the SCREEN Act, which would federally mandate ID checks on the internet, like that law in the UK. That must also be opposed.
