@stephruhle.bsky.social "The New Aristocracy" may not be the hit political slogan for future elections that Republicans think it will be.
Actually, that's a very good idea! Everyone repost Liberty's post, please!
Add to the no-NATO point:

Okee doke, if Russia ever takes any hostile action against Ukraine again for any reason = Ukraine becomes an automatic member of NATO.

I'm sure that surrendering Ukraine to a war criminal will fix things right up for Trump. And on Thanksgiving Day, too.

Also... should the actuarial tables insist that Vance replace 79-year old Trump would the nation's billionaire class receive full credit for the money they gave to Trump and the Trump family or would they have to start all over again with President Vance and his associates?

But Signal is still secure for Secretary of Gwar Hegseth to discuss imminent war plans, right?
WHOA. The FBI was/is spying on a Signal chat for a New York immigration court watch group, claiming they were “anarchist violent extremist actors.”

Your reminder that the government is watching and don’t say anything in a big group chat you wouldn’t say on TV.

Folks from the five boroughs would just love pushing their flat boat down the bayou with a long pole while huntin' up mud bugs for the evening crawfish boil.
There’s not going to be a mass exodus from New York but, even if there were, people wouldn’t generally be going to Louisiana. In 2023, more than twice as many New Yorkers moved to *Alaska* as Louisiana. www.pbump.net/o/americans-...

@olbermann.bsky.social Say what you want about Graham or Bessent, but they both look SO pysched in this interview.
Bessent: "If something happens down in Venezuela, we could really see oil prices go down even more."

@chrislhayes.bsky.social When I first saw this I thought that the J D Vance from Earth One (the J D Vance who wrote Hillbilly Elegy and called Trump "America's Hitler") had travelled here to Earth Prime bent on terminal vengeance.

Didn't Mr. President try that when he sent his supporters to the Capitol on January 6th, 2021? That didn't work out so well for Trump.
Trump calling for members of Congress to be hanged is not great, in my humble opinion.

Trump also famously said that his estimate of his net worth was based on his feelings that day.
Trump on the Fed Chair job: "It's all based on instincts. I see they wanna hire 3,000 economists. 3,000! To report to the Fed Chairman. What are they gonna do?"

Kansas gets most of its electricity from wind power.
Trump: "I don't think Saudi Arabia would like me too much if we decided to kill oil and natural gas. There's nothing like it. It works. Windmills don't work. Other things -- I don't want to get it into too much -- but they don't work. What does work is natural gas, oil, nuclear, and other things."

Perhaps Trump meant that she was being insubordinate to a foreign prince. Not sure that's any better, though.
Trump’s reference to a reporter as “insubordinate” is all you need to know about his view of the right to a free press.

"War hath no fury like a noncombatant": This line from Mort Walker's Beetle Bailey comic strip certainly applies to this guy.
Trump is ranting barely coherently to McDonald's franchise owners: "The one pilot said, 'skedaddle!' And that thing just turned on its side -- pppph. And it's so unbelievable. And that knocked out Iran nuclear capability."
November 18, 2025 at 2:45 PM
I'm old enough to remember when John F. Kennedy was president, and it was like having a leading man from the motion pictures in the White House. And Reagan actually had been a movie star. Trump, I think, would have been a Batman movie villain.
I heard this in the moment and frankly thought Trump said "Peggy" and assumed there was a reporter there with that name. A completely shocking comment.
"Quiet! Quiet, Piggy."

You must admit that Magyar is the perfect name for a political candidate in Hungary.
With Hungary’s parliamentary elections still five months away, the country is already immersed in an intense political campaign between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his challenger, Péter Magyar, that promises to be the biggest challenge of the nationalist leader’s career.

And sent in the Marines to pacify the town of Sharon Springs.
It's literally true. Remember when Biden called in airstrikes on the Western Kansas beef processing plants?
